PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PTN pin-type bare terminals, also known as male pin terminals, plug pin terminals, or pin connectors, are one of the most basic and commonly used crimp-type connecting terminals. Their typical feature is that one end is a pin-shaped (round or square) plug end, while the other end is a bare crimp barrel for crimping wires. It does not come with any plastic insulation, which is why it is called a 'bare terminal.' Its main function is to standardize and secure the wire ends so they can be inserted into corresponding female terminals, connectors, or sockets, achieving reliable electrical connection and disconnection.

The core purpose is to convert loose wire ends into standardized, strong, and precisely sized metal pins, making it easy to connect and disconnect with various interfaces for electrical connections. Main applications include wiring in industrial control cabinets/PLC, internal wiring of household appliances and electronic products, low-voltage distribution systems, automotive wiring harnesses (non-power parts), the lighting industry, communication equipment, and any scenario requiring wire insertion into a 'socket-type' interface. The conductor material (pin and crimp barrel) is copper, offering good conductivity. The surface treatment (plating) is tin-plated to prevent oxidation, improve conductivity, and enhance corrosion resistance and solderability. Additionally, the terminals are low-cost, oxidation-resistant, and solderable, suitable for most environments. Advantages of the product include high reliability, ease of plugging and unplugging, standardization, space-saving, and cost-effectiveness.
