PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

OT open-end terminals, full name open-end copper wire terminals, are mainly used for terminal connections of electrical wires and are a key component for achieving electrical connections. Their core function is to process the ends of cables or wires so that they can be securely connected to terminal posts or terminal blocks. They are suitable for connections between wires or between wires and electrical equipment in wiring systems, ensuring the stability and safety of circuit conduction. Due to their unique open-end design, compared with closed tubular terminals, they are easier to install and remove, making them especially suitable for on-site maintenance and temporary wiring scenarios.

OT open-end terminals are widely used in various fields due to their complete specifications and easy installation: Industrial electrical systems: widely used for wiring connections inside distribution boxes and cabinets, as well as power line connections for electromechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, and transformers. Power and new energy: used for connections in transmission and distribution lines, substation equipment, and in new energy fields such as photovoltaic power stations, wind power equipment, charging stations, and lithium battery packs for cable terminal connections. Construction and engineering installations: used as standard wiring components in building lighting systems, fire electrical systems, and building electrical wiring projects. Transportation and maintenance: suitable for circuit maintenance and modifications in automobiles, ships, and construction machinery, as well as temporary wiring for home appliance repairs and laboratory electrical equipment.

The performance of OT open-end terminals largely depends on their material and surface treatment process: Base material: the main body is usually made of pure copper. Copper has excellent electrical conductivity, low resistivity, effectively reducing loss and heating during current flow, ensuring stable current transmission. Surface treatment includes tin plating and pickling. Some products have a tin-plated surface. The tin layer effectively prevents the copper from oxidizing and rusting in humid or corrosive environments, extends the terminal's lifespan, and maintains good contact performance. Some products are labeled as "pickled" or "matte electroplated," mainly to remove surface oxides and keep the terminal surface clean, sometimes showing the natural color of copper or a matte finish, and also offering certain rust resistance.
