PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HUP copper tube terminals, also commonly referred to as copper wiring terminals, copper lugs, wire lugs, or O-type terminals, are electrical accessories used to achieve reliable and repeatable connections between wires/cables and electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, switches, busbars, and terminal blocks. Their core purpose is to concentrically fix and crimp the ends of stranded or solid wires, forming a strong, low-resistance electrical connection point that can be easily connected to equipment terminal screws. The main advantages are preventing wire strands from fraying, increasing contact area, reducing contact resistance and heat generation, and improving the safety, stability, and durability of the connection. Typical applications include high and low voltage distribution systems, power engineering, industrial automation, the new energy sector, rail transit, ships, data centers, and more. The mainstream material is high-purity electrolytic copper, which has very high conductivity, good ductility, and is easy to crimp. HUP specifically refers to a tubular terminal with a hexagonal crimping groove. Based on the shape of the connection hole at the tail end, it is mainly divided into the following types: O-type/round hole, U-type/fork, pin-type/male, blade/flat type, and other variants.
